It takes a village… Supporters from Australia and New Zealand dedicate their time to hand make beanies, blankets and more… providing life supporting warmth to newborns, and also conveying a message of support to the mothers, families and midwives.
Fundamental to improving outcomes, it is the ongoing support of donors, sponsors and partners to provide vital resources including medicines, medical supplies and equipment.
Opened in 2018, the Midwife Vision Training Academy (Clinic) based at Amana Hospital will provide ongoing support to Amana Hospital, the midwives, mothers and babies, by providing on-going medicines, medical supplies and education.

In 2018, Midwife Vision started work on a documentary to capture the truth of what many women have to face when they are pregnant or give birth in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the efforts of the midwives and clinicians with limited resources.

A kind bequest by Uncle Gilbert started the Uncle Gilbert Scholarship, currently sponsoring Sister Chaki, who after 14 years as a midwife, needs to go back to school due to a change of government regulations.
