The last trip to Amana Hospital saw some major refurbishments and repairs underway. The electrician was busy repairing lights, fans and the theatre airconditioner. The carpenter was busy fixing doors, windows and furniture. New matresses, hosptial beds and delivery beds were added. And to finish it all off, a coat of fresh paint.
We even had the family members over to give the theatre and toilets a hard scrub, and to give it all a big tidy.
Here are some photos to show the before and after progress.

Hi Jan,
I have just finished listening to your podcast on the ABC conversations which you did back in 2017. To say I was inspired and moved is an understatement I was blown away by what you and your daughter and husband are doing in Tanzania. I am a qualified electrician and refrigeration Tech/mechanic with over 30 years experience in the industry and would love to volunteer my services to you at some time if you need it. I would love to put together a group of tradies and come over for a couple of weeks or more to help you finish some projects. Obviously with what is happening around the world at the moment it isn’t a good time. Hopefully things will settle down soon. Keep up the great work.
Faithfully
Rob Teunissen
