We need your help, whether it’s your time, your knitting needles or monetary donations, every little bit counts!
Every little bit helps and with the gift of money we can use this to go towards much needed medical equipment and supplies, hospital maintenance and travel assistance for medical professionals.
100% of monies donated go to help the mothers and the babies.
For example, we have recently donated portable ultrasounds, so that doctors and nurses can check the progress of the delivery. Find out if there are twins, breech or other complications, so that action can be taken early to give a good outcome.

Thanks to the Uncle Gilbert who left money in his will for the education of someone in Africa. Thanks to what he left behind the Becker Family matched his donation forming the Uncle Gilbert & Becker Family Scholarship which is now giving one very deserving Midwife, Sr Theresia Chacky, an opportunity to train over three years to be a clinical educator at the Midwife Vision Training Clinic.
Midwife Vision has a medical volunteer made of Midwives, Doctors, an Ultrasonographer and Nursing Assistants who volunteer at Amana Regional Referral Hospitals approximately three to four times a year. However, Midwife Vision does not currently take volunteers who are not already part of the current Medical Volunteer team unless they have an extensive background in Midwifery, Medicine or Surgical Nursing. If you are interested please send your CV/Resume and a letter requesting to be part of the team to the email on the website. However, all volunteers must pay their own way and contribute to the rent of the Midwife Vision House. We recommend if you’re serious about volunteering to check out Work the World, Tanzanian Appointments or Projects Abroad.
